So what do we do now?

Yes, there are New Year's resolutions, but that's another topic. Some planning is in order, and there are lots of things on the calendar that we've been figuring on doing soon. Here's a possible schedule.

January: Lisa's gallbladder surgery. That might not sound like fun, but we are SOOOO looking forward to getting all the problems over with.

February: The Carnegie Museums, especially the Museum of Art and the Andy Warhol Museum. A common interest of Lisa's and mine.

March: Lisa's birthday. Big celebration dinner (which we can do because she'll have had her gallbladder out).

April: Washington D.C.. Worth doing since Bush won't be there anymore. This is also Tekkoshocon, but I'm on my own for that; Lisa's not into anime.

May: Hiking and fishing at Ohiopyle State Park.

June: Niagara Falls. Theoretically, that will involve seven passports since, as everyone knows, the view is better from the Canadian side. At least mine will be a renewal.

July: Watching the fireworks from a boat on the Monongahela.

August: Camping and trout fishing at Blackwater Falls, West Virginia.

September: Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. That would be a good place for Lisa to volunteer. She's been wanting to do something like that.

October: Philadephia and the King of Prussia Mall (largest in the United States.)

November: Toronto. The Ontario Science Center is freakin' awesome.

December: Celebration of Lights at Hartwood Acres. Especially urgent since circumstances forced us to miss it this year.

Of course there are all the usual things, like the zoo and the library, but they don't get special mention. And stuff will probably get moved around anyway. Lisa even promised to go to the opera with me. We'll have to get her a formal gown and rent a limo.

As for 2010? Who can say? We've talked at Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. And I still want Lisa to see Paris, but heck, we'd have to save up for that one.
